At times pain drains, but
to remain sane,
I sustain faith and trust,
and readjust from sad to glad.
Breathing in fresh air,
and at times, perhaps a prayer,
Helps me to be aware of the
beautiful and the fair.
Soon, with great care, I
am walking on air.
What I feel is the sure
deal, almost magical and surreal,
As honesty and blind truth
flowing freely from youth.
Now the sunshine is all
mine; what an amazing divine design,
I embrace the grace I see
in the vast space above me.
Love and beauty are real
truth,
Life is as simple as that…
To get one smile makes
everything worthwhile.
